Here are my categorized archives of Alpines Mailing List messages. Though the List has several forms of archives, none of them are sorted or searchable. At the end of the summer that I got the Tomato (1997), I requested the List archives back to day 1, month by month, and over several long sessions of enlightened reading, created a set of files containing topical messages in several categories. This collection is not complete. It reflects the fact that I only have one car (a Series II), and when I started I had little to no clue what I was doing automotives-wise, nevermind Alpines-wise. But, I make a great researcher, and as I went through the archives I knew what I didn't know and what would be handy reference information someday.
My Archives pages do not have the same page controls that the other pages do, simply because there are so many and they would mess up the Table of Contents layout. Header lines are trimmed as well as possible with simple Perl regular expressions, so there are some funny-looking lines remaining. Quoted lines are in a smaller typeface. It's not fancy, but it works. |
